Aerial photography and video for real estate

Whether it's you taking the photographs of the property or you hire the professional, you know that it's been the same since 1839 when photography got commercially introduced. That means that for the past 176 years you come to the property and try to take beautiful pictures of the kitchen, living room, dining area, etc. and then... there is a beautiful garden, sea view with mountains or a park right next to the property that is large and hard to capture. Got a long pole or a ladder? Fancy playing a squirrel and climb that cedar to take some nice pictures of the surroundings?

Furthermore, the modern home-buyer has evolved into a digital shopper. Statistics from ‘Digital House Hunt’ indicate that 90% of home buyers have searched online during the home buying process - it is clear that high quality photography is an essential component to selling real estate as it allows potential investors, tenants, and buyers to view a building and it's surrounding neighborhood well before making a visit in person.

We know how important it is to tell a story that is easily followed and related to. But how do you tell the whole story when you can't even capture the whole property?

Easy

Tell a story

Introduce the property in context with its surroundings, atmosphere and let the video work its magic through imagination and storytelling. Be it a property with a beautiful garden or multi-hectar farm,  it's important to showcase the best parts in a compelling way that will stand out and get buyers' attention.
Potential buyers who want to see the home and its property as a whole - true size, shape and layout will give them an immediate idea of what they are looking at.

Capture the current state of the property

A lot of realtors rely on Google Maps when advertising a property or a land. Although this can save costs there is always a danger of the maps being outdated or not accurate which may give the client inaccurate impression and affect his decisions down the line.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Search engines like Google, Bing or Yahoo rate content with videos higher than just text or pictures. This means that your video listings would rank better and will have a much better chance to be found by a prospective client.
Subsequently, the whole website would rank higher too and  receive more traffic from potential buyers and sellers.
Although SEO is a very complex, it's matter of fact that the key component of high ranking is a quality content.

Edge over competition

As with any technology, it's the early adopters who often have an advantage over those following the ''it's always worked this way so why change'' philosophy. With the technology advancing so quickly buyers expect to have their experience to be in line with what they get in other aspects of shopping.
